In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires expertise in managing financial records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end closing process. Responsibilities: • Manage and execute month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and reconciled. • Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting principles. • Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Perform bank reconciliations to validate transactions and ensure accuracy. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes.• Proven experience in accounting with a focus on month-end close and reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and journal entries. • Proficiency in conducting detailed account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
