following role: R&D Sr Tax Consultant Job Summary You will lead
and manage multiple client service teams within your service line
with a goal to provide outstanding client service and achievement
of team goals. You will maintain proactive communication with
clients to build meaningful internal and external relationships.
You will serve as the primary business advisor to clients with the

Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including
planning, research and compliance, and quarterly and annual
provisions. Provide overall goal and direction to team while
managing team resources efficiently and meeting deadlines Review
work papers and tax returns. Plan and coordinate the flow of
information with clients, and effectively manage day-to-day client
needs. Manage client needs with respect to tax services and federal
tax compliance. Develop, motivate and train staff level team
members. Owns the implementation of new firm initiatives, and
rallies team member participation Develop and maintain strong
client relationships. Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and
changes in tax law. Provide industry knowledge and subject-matter
experience. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and engagement
teams for multiple clients across various industries. This role
entails supporting the Research Tax Credit team with existing and
new clients on a daily basis, including the performance of
computational and documentary activities. Computationally, the
manipulation and analysis of large volumes of financial data in
mathematical models (generally Excel-based) is required, with the
creation of those models in compliance with the rules governing the
research tax credits. Drafting and review of specific documents
supporting the development activities conducted by client
personnel. Expected to visit client locations, discuss / interview
client personnel, take notes, and translate those discussions into
living documents (such as memorandums and project descriptions)
suitable for release to governmental authorities, providing the
maximum written support for client research and development
efforts. Preparing, tracking, following up with clients on, and
reviewing information requests. Skills and Qualifications Bachelors
or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax or closely related field from
an accredited college or university. 4-7 years of progressive tax
consulting and compliance experience in public accounting or a
combination of corporate and public accounting experience. CPA,
Enrolled Agent, JD, or LLM in Taxation (with accounting firm or
equivalent background). Requires significant experience with
corporate entity structures in addition to a general level of
knowledge in thither areas of taxation, which may include
partnerships, trusts and individuals. Organizational skills to
simultaneously manage multiple projects and engagement teams for
various clients. A proven track record of building profitable,
sustainable client relationships. Leadership and engagement
management skills including staff scheduling, client budgets and
billings. A deep understanding of International tax technical
topics, changes in tax law, and best practices. Excellent knowledge
of tax accounting, tax compliance, and many types of tax returns.
Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following: GoSystem,
ONESOURCE Income Tax and Provision, Corptax, SAGE Fixed Assets.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent written and
verbal communications skills. Highly developed problem solving and
analytical skills. Intellectually curious and self-starting
attitude.Excellent writing skills absolutely necessary. Outgoing
personality with a willingness to be involved in and eventually
take over interview activities. Must be able to convert discussions
/ interviews into formal written documents. Must be able to work
with / understand Excel and Word. Able to work in a team
environment, willing to travel when necessary. Willingness to
invest time in your own learning and learn other tax concepts.
