Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary school setting in Woodbridge, VA. This contract position runs from an immediate start through the end of the school year. The role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of elementary students. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students needs and develop appropriate interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and support to students to promote mental health and well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention planning Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, referrals, and progress reports Desired Qualifications: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within elementary school environments Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Ability to work onsite full-time and collaborate effectively with a diverse school community Excellent communication and organizational abilities Location: Woodbridge, VA Elementary School Setting Duration: Contract through the current school year Schedule: Full-time, onsite This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences by addressing their psychological needs directly within the school environment.
