Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a
K-12 school setting in Avenal, CA. This contract position spans the
current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible through the
end of the school year (EOSY). The role supports a diverse student
population from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing
essential speech and language services to promote student
communication and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and
progress monitoring for K-12 students. Develop individualized
education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents,
and multidisciplinary teams. Utilize evidence-based techniques to
address a variety of speech and language disorders. Maintain
accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and
federal regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
the development of school-wide communication supports.
Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification
(SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or School-based SLP credential). Prior
experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessments and
interventions tailored for diverse learners. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with
students, families, and school personnel. Ability to manage
