Job Description:

Selectek is looking for a Junior Network Engineer who will be responsible for leading both projects and staff to deliver projects of a high quality and timely manner.

Required:

• Architect, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise class wired and wireless networks
• Consults with customers in pre-sales solutions engineering role
• Escalation support for Network Technicians
• Help Desk Support
  • 2 plus years of experience
  • CCNAor CWNAcertification a plus
  • Experience with Ruckus Wireless equipment in a production enterprise environment
  • Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skillsPreferred:
    • Strong Layer 2/3 understanding
    • Strong IPv4 skills including subnetting
    • Strong 802.11 WiFi and RF fundamentals
    • Network services such as NTP, DNS, DHCP, etc
    • Experience with low latency applications such as voice and video
    • Strong IPv6 skills
    • Experience with Brocade ICX Series switches in a production enterprise environment
    • Experience with industry standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc.
    • Experience with monitoring platforms that use SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc.
      Sponsorship:No, must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
      Pay range:$40.86/hour - $48.08/hour
      Term of assignment:6 month contract to direct
      Pay method when direct:$85,000 - $100,000
      Location of job: San Jose Office
      Hours and shift:Monday to Friday,8AM - 5PM with some weekend work
      Work from home/remote: San Jose position -report to Office and conference
      Overtime expected:Yes
      Travel: to local clients
      Work attire:Business Casual
