Job Title: Perinatal Care SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Perinatal Care Specialist to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Merced. As a Perinatal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have 2 full years of experience in a similar role and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification. You will be working in a hospital setting in California, with a diverse patient population, including high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. The successful candidate will be comfortable using evidence-based algorithms and will be expected to adhere to the baby-friendly and golden hour rules.Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in hourly rounds and bedside report
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Meet with the perinatal safety officer to discuss evidence-based algorithmsRequirements:
  • 2 full years of experience in a similar role
  • Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
