DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in providing critical care to patients in the fast-paced environment of Sacramento, CA emergency rooms. Job Description: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and life-threatening conditions. Provide immediate medical attention to patients experiencing trauma, heart attacks, strokes, respiratory distress, and other emergencies. Perform rapid assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans. Stabilize critically ill patients and manage their care until they can be transferred to appropriate specialists or admitted to the hospital. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, paramedics, and other physicians, to deliver efficient and effective care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Remain calm and focused under pressure. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in emergency medicine through ongoing professional development.
