Sacramento, CA) Veteran Affairs Physicians . Because you're in high

paid federal holidays accrue right away. The Northern California VA
Healthcare System's Diagnostic Imaging Service is seeking an
experienced and dynamic radiologist (Physician in Diagnostic
Radiology) for Women's Imaging. Ideal applicants are those who want
to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards as an
MQSA-certified Interpreting Physician for mammography. Breast
fellowship training is preferred. You must be an excellent
communicator and team player who is adaptable to the needs of the
Imaging department. Selectee will serve as full-time Staff
Radiologist for Diagnostic Imaging Service and Interpreting
Physician for mammography. A strong ability to contribute to the
general radiology workload is necessary as the position is
approximately 20-40% mammography. Duties include, but are not
limited to: Interpret the full spectrum of breast imaging studies
including screening and diagnostic 2D/3D mammography, breast
ultrasound and breast MRI, and perform interventional breast biopsy
procedures including ultrasound and stereotactic needle biopsies
and wireless localizations. The Breast Imaging Section uses Hologic
mammographic equipment including state of the art 3D tomosynthesis
and upright tomo/stereotactic breast biopsy system, and ultrasound
equipment. Knowledge and understanding of safety, imaging
procedures, and relevant accreditation standards including those of
the Joint Commission, the ACR, and the Mammography Quality
Standards Act (MQSA) and ability to facilitate
re-accreditation/re-certification. Consultant for interdisciplinary
tumor board Additional duties also include interpretation of
general radiology studies depending on skill set (fluoroscopy,
radiography, ultrasound, CT, etc.), consultations with referring
clinical services. INCENTIVES: Education Debt Reduction Program

Recruitment/Relocation may be authorized for highly qualified
candidates. Salary $313,000 - $400,000 per year Work Schedule:
