Located in Sacramento, CA, near Lake Tahoe, skiing, San Francisco and Pacific Ocean. The office is in Midtown, the creative and entrainment section of Sacramento. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Sacramento, CA. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage vision conditions, and provide personalized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, staying updated with advancements in eye care, educating patients about eye health, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Qualifications Strong clinical abilities in conducting eye exams, diagnosing vision conditions, and developing treatment plans Expertise in prescribing corrective lenses and identifying diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with a team Knowledge of the latest developments in eye care technologies and treatments Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage patient needs efficiently Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry program State licensure to practice optometry; must meet all lo regulatory and legal requirements Ability to deliver compassionate patient care with a focus on customer service
