Job Description:
Role Overview: The person in this role is responsible for
ensuring the smooth operation of a data center, including
maintaining infrastructure systems (like power, cooling, and tape
storage), supporting hardware/software, and ensuring high levels of
uptime and service availability. Required Skills and Experience :
1. Associates degree or 3-5 years of datacenter operations work
experience 2. Excellent customer service skills 3. Excellent
English written and verbal communication skills 4. Very good
understanding of tape technology 5. Good understanding of
facilities infrastructure 6. Vast knowledge of electrical
switchgear, generator, UPS, HVAC systems and CRE unit maintenance
7. IT industry certifications such as CompTIA Certifications 8.
Performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on data center
infrastructure (electrical, HVAC, UPS systems, etc.) 9. Responding
to incidents and supporting on-site technical operation. 10.
Ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and operational
procedures
