Job Description Job Description Batch Operator / Concrete Mixer Operator Location: Greenfield, IN Work Schedule & Pay Integrity Trade Services is looking for a Batch Operator / Concrete Mixer Operator to start immediately. Start time: 3:30 AM Shift length: 10–12 hours Starting pay: $19.50/hour Hours: Typically 40 hours per week with overtime Some Saturdays may be required Position Summary The Batch Operator / Concrete Mixer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating batch plant and concrete mixing equipment to produce concrete that meets company specifications and industry standards. This role ensures consistent quality, supports production schedules, and maintains equipment and work areas while following all safety and environmental guidelines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Operate batch plant systems and concrete mixers in a safe and efficient manner Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to approved mix designs Monitor batching operations to ensure quality, consistency, and production accuracy Transport and discharge concrete to molds, forms, casting tables, or trucks as required Perform daily equipment inspections and document operational checks Clean, maintain, and lubricate batch plant equipment, mixers, and surrounding work areas Perform minor troubleshooting and assist with basic maintenance and repairs Maintain radio or verbal communication with production, yard, and quality teams Assemble and disassemble equipment as required for production or maintenance Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures Attend required safety meetings and complete ongoing safety training Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience operating batch plants, concrete mixers, or heavy equipment preferred Ability to successfully complete required safety training, including: Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) Confined Space Fall Protection CDL is a plus but not required Reliable attendance history and acceptable work performance Skills & Abilities Basic math and measurement skills Ability to read and follow batch tickets and work instructions Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach for extended periods Ability to work in an industrial and outdoor environment Exposure to dust, noise, weather conditions, heat, humidity, and concrete materials Interested?
