The Nurse Director of Women's and Children's services will work in a Medical Center that is more than a community hospital. The Perinatal Services Nurse Director will manage a fast paced Women's and Children's department with more than 4,000 deliveries annually. The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health will be supported by a highly skilled Manager of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Nurse Manager of NICU.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Maternal Child Health will lead a staff of 90 experienced nurses in the perinatal departments. The Nursing Director of Maternal Child Health will be responsible for the overall administration, planning, direction, evaluation and development of the Perinatal departments.

The ideal candidate for the Nurse Director of Perinatal Services will show evidence of progressive nursing leadership and management experience including leadership in clinical and service excellence to patients, motivational skills, ability to understand the current healthcare environment, ability to understand the business viewpoint of the position, ability to approach problems analytically.
