    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 2 years of experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages.Preferred qualifications:
      • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field.
      • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Python.
      • Experience with Borg and Google's production environment.
      • Experience designing, analyzing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
      • Ability to own a small-to-medium area and deliver projects independently with guidance from leadership.
      • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in software systems.About the jobSite Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and operate large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services-both internal and external-are reliable, available, and continuously improving. SREs monitor system capacity and performance to meet customer needs.The role involves optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and automating tasks. You will tackle the unique challenges of scale in Google Cloud, applying your expertise in coding, algorithms, and system design. These services include Static Content Service, Laelaps, Punctual, and Memstore.Responsibilities
        • Collaborate with development teams to enhance service reliability, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring new services follow best practices.
        • Develop automation and improve reliability to support service migration and convergence.
